Earls Court Managing Director and senior staff hosted a private social function on Wednesday 3rd December 2014 to celebrate 77 years of Earls Court Shows and 49 years of the Royal Tournament, before demolition began. 4 staff members of Portsmouth Action Field Gun were most privileged to be requested to attend with the 12-pounder and limber with all track fittings. The gun was displayed centrally throughout the evening and of course was the centre of attention. The Managing Director and Portsmouth Action Field Gun staff members brought the evening to a close by executing the last ever firing of a 12-pounder field gun within Earls Court. An historical moment.
